The beautiful sunsets at Peten Itza Lake were unforgettable! The staff went above and beyond for my son, even setting up a campfire for us. Our room was cozy, and the nearby Tikal National Park offered incredible archaeological tours after a day by the pool.
In my wife’s opinion, the Wi-Fi could use improvement for streaming kids’ shows.

Had an awesome time with my friends! We explored the stunning Mayan ruins at Tikal National Park, just 30 minutes away, and it was a fantastic trip. After our adventures, relaxing by the beautiful lake and pool was perfect. Staff were super friendly, making it a great stay. Just remember to bring enough water, as the hotel's location is pretty remote.
The road to the hotel is extremely bumpy, which can be a bit of a hassle when you arrive.

The stunning lake views and friendly staff made the experience memorable. While the outdated rooms and lack of amenities like bottled water were disappointing, the fantastic food kept us satisfied through our stay. Overall, it’s a good choice if you appreciate nature over luxury.

Beautiful Nature Escape with Minor Dining Quirks
Our stay was amazing, with spacious and comfortable rooms overlooking the stunning lake. We loved spotting wildlife around the gardens, but the dining options felt limited some nights. Despite this, the pool area and serene environment made our two-night stay a memorable getaway close to Tikal.
